The
most controversial invention is on the development of medical 3D printing or
known as bioprinting. Scientist was finally able to print customised human
organs and anatomical parts. Materials used for printing human parts is human
cells, considering the sensitivities of living cells and the construction of
tissues on human body. However, bioprinting raised moral dilemma and
controversy on ethical cultural aspect. Some people believe that it is inhuman
to re create what God has made.

Who should we blame?
While
3D printing threatens the existence of traditional manufacturers, their
existence also concerns the society with their products. The latest invention
of 3D printing is a series of gun models in mid 2012. Despite the fact that it
is a great invention for military, their safety has been questioned. Gun
manufacturers has always got some guide for their creation so that it will be
save enough for the user. Therefore, when 3D printing process was made, there
might be some safety regulation has been broken. Who should be responsible if
there is a failure in the use of gun? Is it the person who sends the file? Or
the printing manufacturer? Or even the software designer? This concerning issue
about gun safety regulation needs to be taken into more development in order to
truly replicate the real gun. At the moment, the issue remains controversial.
it is concerning how easy it is right now to make and own a gunSaturday, 4 July 2015
3D Printing On Worlds Economy
“The process has blossomed” - Chuck Hull
In
fact, 3D printing has become popular in the past few years. People started to find
the need of creating prototypes with 3D printers. I would like my own custom
made jewellery. An Architect would love to use 3D printing technology to build
their physical models that are to complicated to be made with traditional
method. Therefore, some other people find an opportunity to fill in the gap on
the market. Some offer the service, and some buy the service to create their
custom made object. 3D printing system has provided platform for new business
and for manufacturers to collaborate with the end customers.
With
this cycle in the market going ton, 3D printing could possibly take part in
world’s economy and on how people think. People think they can create and
custom made whatever they want instead of looking through available products. This
might be good for consumers, but it is disruptive for traditional
manufacturers. People will have the tendency to 3D printing rather than buy
something from the market. Manufacturer’s demand will decrease slowly due to
the ability of the customers to print whatever they want. Hence, rather than
trying to fight back the latest technology development of 3D printing,
manufacturers might better try to move quickly and innovatively. They should be
able to catch up with public demands and supply chains for them.

3D Printing On Different Areas Of Expertise

World First 3D Printed Car
First 3D printed gun
As time goes by and as many development made, the technology has evolved far from his first experiment. In 1999, a huge development made by Hull and group of scientists to 3D printed scaffold for human organs. The material used for the scaffold is the human cell, so it is easier to be accepted in human body. Another medical invention also made in 2008 when the first 3D prosthetic leg is produced for disabled patient, followed with a 3D printed blood vessel, and titanium jaw made in around 2010. One significant invention also happens in 2011 when car manufacturers decided to build the first 3D printed car. Military then followed the trend when they welcome 3D printed guns in 2012.

Mechanism:
1. fill up VAT with desired photo resin materials
2. set up UV laser light, and Y platform at the right position
3. transfer CAD file to printer
4. Wait until your object is fully layered
How easy is that?

Welcoming The Era of 3D Printing
Welcome to 21st century!
Where technology has become mandatory for human life!
This blog will specifically gives information about the most magical invention of technology nowadays. The first technology I want to talk about is 3D printing, where we can duplicate 3D objects into their exact same replicas.

3D printer: MakerBot Replicator 2
3D
printing technology were first introduced to the world by Charles Hull or known
as Chuck Hull back in 1970s. Therefore, development has been made for almost 30
years to the stage that it is now fully functioning as a 3D prototyping
technology. Basic knowledge about 3D printing is to create 3 dimensional
solid objects using additive process from a digital file. The solid object created
through layers and layers of chosen material until it forms the entire intended
object. This blog will discuss the technology invention from scratch on the
day it ways invented, how it is developed until these days, their mechanism, the impact of 3D
printing technology, and the theory behind the invention.
